Martini Legends Formula 1

Celebrating 60 years of partnership with Ferrari, Shell made its co-sponsorship of Martini Legends a very special treat for classic race enthusiasts by bringing its famous ‘Shell Woad Corner’ classic garage to Spain!

The Shell Woad Corner retro/vintage garage venue was the undoubted star of last month’s Goodwood Revival in the UK and by linking with (Shell’s heritage merchandise) visitors to Martini Legends will have the first chance in Spain to see for themselves what everybody’s talking about!

As well as the striking ‘Shell Woad Corner’ retro filling station Shell has brought from England its wonderful ’48 Fordson V8 delivery lorry, displaying Shell Art exactly as it was seen 60 years ago!

A world exclusive for Martini Legends was the unveiling of the Shell Art Gallery with a range of wonderful images from the Collection that had been largely unseen for decades. However as part of Magic of Motoring's management of Shell's heritage brand, the pieces are now reproduced by the original Cambridge-based printers in exactly the same way, even printing on the same paper stock as originally used.

Magic of Motoring also brought the famous race transporter over from England especially for Martini Legends, displaying all the Shell heritage merchandise, including the Official Jochen Rindt Collection, the very popular Shell race suits, ‘Pit Lane’ mechanic’s overalls, the Shell ‘60’ Collection of shirts, jackets and ‘racing leather’, the ‘Executive Collection’ including bags, gloves and cases, and the Models and Toys Collection including the TV-featured ‘child-driveable’ electric or petrol-powered Maserati and Ferrari GP cars!
